Grounds

The campus has been a beautiful, peaceful hallmark of Grand Rapids’ West Side neighborhood and nearby neighbor and friend to the city of Walker since the Carmelite Sisters chose the current site in 1951. Our 23 acres include a variety of mature trees, open lawns, sidewalks and benches for strolls or pausing to enjoy a Pure Michigan day, and it is populated by many birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and natural plants. Ducks at Tree
